Zach has had the week off and we decided to stay in Denver. Grandma Reese came to town and we felt like we were on vacation. We had a great time checking out a few new places (well, they were new to us). We went shopping at the Castle Rock Outlets, checked out the Unsinkable Molly Brown House, and went to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science (Thanks Lu Anne for the family membership). We had some delicious food and saw Avatar 3D (and absolutely loved it)! It's too bad that the part that will be remembered most from this relaxing time is a trip to Target to get a couple of DVDs for Connor. I was walking down an aisle and not paying attention to what was in front of me when I ran right into a metal pillar in the aisle. It made a loud clanging sound and Zach said, "Did you just hit that?" I laughed for a few seconds until Zach said I was bleeding, at which point I may have started to cry a bit. I am sure it was caught on the security cameras because when I came out of the bathroom there were a couple of security guys looking at me funny..........

that's weird.......she left that part out.
you are just such a dedicated and focused shopper....it's a blessing and a curse.
Ouch! Good thing you have a doctor in the family. How fun to have Grandma come visit!
she gave me the run down of every thing you guys did. it sounded like you guys had a fun time (minus the target incident).
How did I not know that Zach and Chris both had stay-at-home vacations during the same week?!?! So weird. Chris is just wrapping up his - we had a little ski day today. :) Looks like it was fun having your mom here!
I was laughing so hard when I read about the target incident. Ouch. Hopefully you've recovered. Miss you guys.
I am glad I am not the only clumsy one in the family. Looks like you had a fun week.
Hey, look at the bright side...we are now scar twins! sorry about that though....it sure stinks....and heads bleed a ton! At least mine did!
Oh, I'm sorry about your eye! Was anyone watching? I always have my most embarrassing moments in front of a group of people (sitting on a broken chair at church, falling in the hallway in front of students...)
oh emily....excuse me as a giggle just a bit... :)))
