Zach is the better cook in the family by a large margin. } Yesterday while cooking some healthy sausage, Zach got a little carried away and set off the smoke/fire alarms with his somewhat gourmet cooking, there wasn't any fire involved but the extra sensitive alarm system set off the 10 town houses near by {something about if your upstairs smoke alarm goes off everyone goes off}. Next thing we know the fire truck and police are coming up the street. The University housing we live in has wood shingle siding, it has to be so old they don't take any chances. Zach stayed inside with the blaaarring alarm for most of the excitement to make sure his sausage was alright. While I explained to the neighbors...

Watch out ladies, I am sitting up on my own now.

Aren't the WPK alarms great? We set them off 2 or 3 times while living there. The kids always get excited about the fire trucks coming so it might be worth it. Wow, Connor is a cutie, sitting all by himself. Elizabeth just got weighed today and was over 16 lbs. That's a lot to balance. I don't think she'll be sitting alone any time soon.
Yep, love those alarms! I think we might have set a record by having the firemen over twice in one day last week. In our defense, it was a malfunction each time and we weren't even home when the second one went off. I'm sure the neighbors appreciated it! :-)
Oh my goodness! That kid is stinkin' cute! I love that Zachary stayed inside to finish cooking.
The blog is lookin gooood! Thanks for the sweet thoughts for my b-day! I love having you for a sister! That little Connor.... I think he is just about as cute as a kid can get!

I heard about this...so funny. I love that your taking pictures of it as it's happening. Those firemen who get dispatched to WPK must take their time by now, those sensitive alarms are like crying wolf a bit don't you think?
Love, Love, Love this picture. What a handsome fellow he is.
I'm impressed that Connor will keep a hat on, my boys never did. He is looking mighty handsome!
