With temperatures in the 100's, Grandma and Grandpa Reese's new pool in St. George was an absolute hit. Connor seemed to be okay with relaxing and hanging out in the pool.

We blessed Connor in St. George while visiting family out there. Zach gave a really nice blessing and the party afterward was great. There was a delicious dinner and fantastic goodies. My Sister created the water bottle stickers and cute signs of Connor. Afterwards we jammed out as we played Rock Band and played a competitive game of pool basketball (Zach played so hard his toes were bleeding).

The 4th of July! My favorite day of the whole year! I have big expectations for Independence Day and this year was one of the best. It was a nice overcast day with family, friends from high school, my mother's cooking, and a 45-minute firework show (who knew fireworks could drag on). I am looking forward to next year all ready.
Our Vacation seemed flawless until we departed from Vegas to come back to Rochester. Many little things went wrong, but the kicker was in Atlanta where we were expecting a 40 minute layover (which would have put us in Rochester at 7:00 PM) that turned into a 7 HOUR layover. I am getting upset even thinking about it. I believe everyone has a mean layer in them and I let mine show in Atlanta. Thunderstorms earlier that day caused the delays, but for some reason other flights were delayed one or two hours while ours was delayed 7 big ones. I had one diaper and 4 wipes when I got home at 4:00 AM, and unfortunately Zach had to be up by 6:15AM.
We asked Jon to pick us up at 7:00PM and because he is a FANTASTIC friend he still picked us up with our 3:30AM arrival time.

That totally stinks! With that said, we sure had fun with you guys and that adorable Connor. We can't wait to see you again at Christmas. Yikes! That is way too far away.

Wasn't that crazy how the fireworks just went on and on. we had alot of fun and good laughs about it too.

Oh wow! Glad you made it safe and the trip in between made all the chaos of getting back worth it. Hey, I wanna see that bad Emily layer sometime...I don't believe it!
