MacGyver?

It's hot, and our window air conditioners are cranking out that cool air. However, we did have a difficult time getting the drapes coming off the side to stay in place to keep the bugs out.

In my past life I was in charge of the UVSC student activities, and I wanted to create an Activities Hot Line for the students. The advisers said that it had unsuccessfully been done before. But I was determined, and I ordered about 500 pens that said "GET A LIFE" with the hot line # below. The advisers were right... it was unsuccessful. I gave away most of the pens but somehow ended up with about 50 for myself. It is now roughly 5 years later and they finally came in handy! It's classy, isn't it? Ryan, Joe, or Jim--I still have 48 pens if you would like some for the memories.

3 months today! Although many told us that time was going to fly by and our baby boy was going to grow and change quickly, I am still shocked and amazed to see him grow out of his diapers and develop a little personality.

Wow! What a cutie! This is the first picture of Connor that I have seen some Em (Okerlund/Bennett) in there. We can't wait to see him.

Glad to see the AC's going to good use. We actually just bought 2 space heaters yesterday, because it's so cold here. We had that problem with the sides, and I think we used some thin plywood, but the pens seem to work well too. Connor is such a cute baby. Take care.

3 months already! Wow. Connor is still getting cuter by the day. I didn't think that was possible.

Emily,

It's Michelle Bready!...from ASUVSC. I found your blog on Jim's blog...look at you! So cute...with the most adorable little boy. I found you just in time for the blog about the excess amount of pens....I really must have about 50 myself still. I grabbed a bunch and found them in a box just a little while ago...I use them ALL the time...they last forever. Anyway....glad you're doing well. Shoot me an email sometime and let me know what you're up to and where you are! breadybug@gmail.com.

Loves, Michelle
